Other than tile, cultured marble is the next most used material for showers. It provides one piece wall units for the back wall and the two end walls. When using cultured marble for the walls I would also recommend a cultured marble shower pan as apposed to a fiber glass pan. The cultured marble shower pan outlasts and remain clean, with a little effort and is slip proof. Cultured marble has many colors to choose from and you can even have your counter top done up with the same material. Benches, corner foot rests, recessed and corner shelving can be added for shampoo and other items.
A relative new product is Tru Stone, which resembles granite, but less the expense. This is very similar to the cultured marble family, but adds more beauty to your shower area. Below are several photos and more can be seen at our photo gallery.
